Where is it?
The JJB Stadium is in the Robin Park area of the town. It is well signposted from the motorway and ample parking is available in the official club car parks - which are currently free of charge to use. Visitors are reminded NOT to park in the retail park area as parking restrictions are in place.

Can I eat and drink at the Stadium?
Yes, there are numerous food outlets serving a range of hot and cold food and drink inside the Stadium. Alcoholic drinks are available in the concourse areas but are not allowed inside the seating areas. There are also numerous eateries on the surrounding retail park, including Pizza Hut and McDonalds.

Can I place a bet?
You certainly can, the Stadium has TOTE betting facilities in each of the four stands.

About the Stadium

The contract for Wigan Athletics 'JJB Stadium' was signed on the 27th February 1998 after many months of deliberating over the contractors plans.

This contract worth in the region of £35 Million was awarded to Alfred McAlpine Construction Limited (Special Projects Division), builders of Huddersfield Town F.C's 'McAlpine Stadium', Boltons' Reebok Stadium and Blackburns' Ewood Park. Work began the day the contract was signed to prepare the land at Robin Park for the 25,000 all-seater complex.
